University of New South Wales, one of Australia’s leading research and teaching universities. Each year, Arc runs heaps of activities, programs and events that the students can join as a volunteer.Volunteers develop their own skills and the skills of others in the community. It also provides a great sense of achievement and is heaps of fun.
The volunteer team came to nepal for the first time in july, 2011. Since then the team is visiting Nepal, through Sambhav Nepal every year and are volunteering by assisting teaching staff to teach basic English, Science, Maths, and Physical Education or run workshops based on the individual skill set. Recently, they have helped us established a sound computer lab in Bhairabhi Primary School. The team financed for a full furnished library with 6 Desktop computers, UPS, one laptop and a multi-tasking three in one printer.
