Richard Jackson

Richard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Sydney University and has had extensive formal training in relevant financial disciplines including a Diploma of Financial Planning from the Financial Planning Association. Richard is an ASX Accredited Listed Product Adviser and an Affiliate (Practitioner) Member of the FPA .

Richard’s initial grounding in financial services was obtained with Westpac Banking Corporation where he worked for approximately 9 years, including a period of three years in London. Richard left Westpac in 1993 to join his family’s furniture manufacturing business, which provided hands-on business experience in a very competitive market.

Through the collaboration with the Rotary Club of Wahroonga, the Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) and other clubs in Sydney, Richad has played a key role in supporting the schools and the community. Most recently, he helped organize the successful Teachers Training Program in 2011 through the Australian Rotary Volunteer Team. He aims to organize a similar program in the upcoming years.

Richard is one of the major supporters of Sambhav Nepal projects; he is constantly seeking further support within Australia to ensure effectiveness and success of the projects implemented in collaboration with Sambhav Nepal.
